How to Donate Goods

        Items Needed

 

A Hand Up needs the following new or used items:

Furniture: Kitchenware:
  • Beds (in good condition and not more than 10 years old) - twins, doubles and queens
  • Pots and pans
  • Small sofas
  • Dishes
  • Small armchairs
  • Glasses
  • Dressers
  • Silverware
  • End tables
  • Cooking utensils
  • Lamps
  • Serving bowls and platters
  • Kitchen tables and chairs
Linens:
  • Blankets
  • Sheets
  • Bedspreads
  • Comforters
  • Pillows (new only)
  • Bath towels and kitchen towels

Call us at (860) 424-2980 or email us at ahandup2005@sbcglobal.net to arrange to drop off or a pick up of your donation.  For larger items we ask that you store them for us until we get a request for the particular type of item, and we will pick it up on the day we plan to make a delivery to the client.
